Airport (YSCN) , about 60 km or 45-60 mins drive southwest
of Sydney, Australia at S34 02.4 E150 41.2.

is a GAAP aerodrome with the control tower operating 0900
to 1700 EST and EDST on Saturdays and Sundays (and
Public Holidays by NOTAM - excluding Christmas Day).
Outside
Tower
Hours aircraft movements are controlled by pilots themselves
using CTAF procedures. There
is a sealed 1464m 06/24 runway and a grass 723m 10/28
runway. There are separate runways and facilities for
glider operations. Aerodrome elevation is 230 ft AMSL.
The Tower and CTAF frequency is 120.1
MHz and
Pilot
Activated
Lighting
is available for
Night Ops.
Camden has
many advantages as a training venue allowing pilots to avoid
the congestion
and costs of Bankstown.
The
training area for pilots is readily accessible, just northwest
of Camden towards Warragamba Dam, at the base of the
Blue
Mountains.
Our
former home, Hoxton Park Airport, was closed on 15 December
2008 following sale by the Australian Federal Government
to BAC DevCo.
