We have an extremely rich history operating as an aero club in Sydney since 1977 and our main focus, is you! You can learn to fly anywhere, however, we strongly believe that our club offers a unique attraction as a social destination with a strong club-first mentality. We strive to make our club the place where you want to spend your entire day at. Whether you’re taking the time to do some extra study before and after your flight, or taking part in our lunchtime BBQ, you never know who you’re going to meet. We’ve fostered the growth of aircraft syndicates, study groups and life-long friendships! There are always social and networking opportunities; aviation is a small and tight-nit industry in Australia. Take advantage of that at our club and meet others who share your passion for flying.

Becoming a Member!
If you’ve ever been a member of a sporting or recreational club, you know that surrounding yourself with others that share your passion is a priceless way to enhance your hobby. Aviation is no different, and surrounding yourself with people that are at all different stages of their aviation journey provides an incredibly rich mix of interesting people, stories, and opportunities. Our membership base is incredibly diverse; we have Qantas pilots and engineers you can ask for career advice, as well as aircraft owners who may have a spare seat on their next trip!
Being a member of the Phoenix Aero Club gives you fantastic access to hiring aircraft, but becoming a part of our aviation family will help you fill that aircraft with life-long friends.
